Directed, co-written, and co-edited by Sam Raimi, Army of Darkness is the dark fantasy comedy film which serves as the third installment in the Evil Dead film series and the sequel to Evil Dead II (1987).
Luke and Nathan go back to the Middle Ages (better known as 1992) alongside Bruce Campbell who is trappen in time, surrounded by evil, and low on gas.
Ash (Bruce Campbell) must quest for the Necronomicon, a book of evil which can return him to his time. Unfortunately, he releases the evil trapped inside the book and unleashes an army of the dead.
