Directed bt Stephen Hopkins, Lost in Space is the science-fiction adventure film adapted from the 1966-1968 CBS television series if the same name (itself inspired by the 1812 novel The Swiss Family Robinson by Johan David Wyss).
Luke and Jae get lost back in 1998 to review this theatrical reboot which stars Willian Hurt, Matt LeBlanc, Gary Oldman, and Heather Graham.
The space family Robinson is on a journey to Alpha Prime in the hopes of establishing a colony there and thereby saving humanity from extinction. Their plans are foiled by the evil Dr. Smith and they find themselves curiously enough, lost in space.
