This makes four for four! The latest Adam Sandler Netflix movie, this one directed by Robert Smigel, and co-written by and starring Sandler is here – The Week Of. Co-starring Chris Rock, Rachel Dratch, Steve Buscemi, Allison Strong, and Noah Robbins, The Week Of is a departure from Adam Sandler’s previous three films with Netflix, going with a more low concept movie.
The week before the marriage of their children, fathers Kenny Lustiger (Adam Sandler) and Kirby Cordice (Chris Rock) must put aside their different views on how a wedding should be planned and work together to overcome a series of obstacles. Cordice is a very well of surgeon whilst Lustiger has not been so lucky in terms of financial wealth. Yet Lustiger, as the father of the bride, insists on planning and covering all of the costs of his daughter’s big day.
