Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Mamoa as Arthur Curry, the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. His half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) seeks to wage a war against the surface world.
With the aid of Atlanteans Mera (Amber Heard) and Vulko (Willem Dafoe), Arthur reluctantly sets out to retrieve the Trident of Atlan, become the Aquaman, and take his place as king of Atlantis. There's also an armoured up pirate called Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).
