Let's put World War III on hold for a minute and just review this movie. Captain Marvel is Marvel Studio's first female led superhero movie, written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and starring Brie Larson in the titular role.
Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Vers (Brie Larson), an extra-terrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle on an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. Finding herself on Earth, and with recurring memories of another life as U.S Air Force pilot Carol Danvers, Vers teams up with a young Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to uncover the secrets of her past whilst harnessing her special superpowers to become Captain Marvel and end the war with the evil Skrulls.
