Steven Brill returns from The Do-Over to direct Sandy Wexler, where Adam Sandler plays a talent manager working in Los Angeles in the 1990s, representing a group of eccentric clients. His skills as a manager are challenged when he discovers a legitimately talented singer, Courtney Clarke (Jennifer Hudson).
