One of the driest spots in the country is Elmstead Market in Essex, it’s here in the 1960s where Beth Chatto and her husband created her now well known gardens from an overgrown wasteland. David Ward oversees what goes on in the gardens and nursery he spoke to Ken about the growth of the business.
