Praise to the Lord, the almighty, the King of creation;
Praise now, my soul, for in God is your health and salvation;
come, all who hear, into love’s presence draw near,
joining in glad adoration.
Praise to the Lord, who in all things is wondrously reigning,
shielding from harm and yet gently but firmly sustaining.
Have you not seen how your heart's wishes have been
granted by God's wise ordaining?
Praise to the Lord, who with blessing and power will defend you;
surely all goodness and mercy shall daily attend you;
ponder anew what the almighty can do,
God will for ever befriend you.
Praise to the Lord! Let us lift up our voices imploring!
All that has life and breath, come now with praises outpouring!
