“Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel, which translated means, 'God with us.’”
Jesus was God born in a body, and Pastor Steve presents 3 reasons why this matters. “God with us” was a promise that was foretold (Isaiah 7:14), a presence that was factual (Matthew 1:21-23), and for the purpose of forgiveness (John 3:16-17).
Steve’s 15 minute message is followed by Creekside’s Christmas program, an all-ages presentation in word, song, dance and art celebrating “God with us”—from creation in Eden, to the cradle in Bethlehem, to the cross at Calvary, to the future culmination of the Kingdom and glory of God.
