"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." If our hearts are open to the presence of God, we WILL be changed by it. Nick Reed begins our series on the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:16-26, a list of attributes that Jesus perfectly displayed, "fruit" that in our own lives is evidence of sin overcome by the blood of Christ and a life changed by the power of the Holy Spirit. The kind of fruit you bears in your life shows what kind of tree you belong to. What kind of fruit do you bear? How do we glorify God and reveal who he is with our words and actions? Among other things, the Fruit of the Spirit is love (verse 22), and Nick calls us to reflect on the love of God specifically, a love that should cause us to be amazed.
