"What we know about God, about creation, about ourselves, and about salvation begins in Genesis. It provides the theological pillars on which the rest of the Bible stands. If we want to understand who God is, what He has done, and what He will do, we need to know Genesis." (Kent Hughes) Alan Crim starts our new series on Genesis and presents an introductory message on the Bible's first book, touching on its authorship, creation, design, and why it matters today. The same God who spoke creation into existence would come to earth to make it clear for us (Luke 24:26). Alan's message follows a brief announcement about our upcoming "Creekside U" session from Mark Kline.
