The Jewish leaders in John 7:14-24 couldn’t refute what Jesus was teaching, but they didn’t want to accept it either, so they resorted to personal attacks and superficial judgment. After brief announcements, Pastor Steve’s message highlights two steps Jesus took to confirm His divine authority and deity. Steve’s message is followed by a reading by Jesse and Mackenzie South for the first Sunday of Advent.
