Children are arrows and parents are archers, and eventually we will need to let our kids fly. Where will we aim them? Our February 21st Connect service began with a baby dedication, a time of prayer and pledge of support for our kids and their families in raising them in the Lord. Nick Reed then preaches from Psalm 127, reminding parents to hold up our children in prayer, consider them a blessing (not an inconvenience), and keep God the target of our own lives. We can't change the hearts of our children, but we can be faithful in teaching them to love Jesus in faith that He who loves them more that we ever could will never stop pursuing them.
