We possess what we profess if we abide in the truth. With the world’s growing opposition to Christ, Steve Smith reminds us from 1 John 2:18-27 of two resources we have as Christians to combat this opposition: the Holy Spirit and the knowledge of God’s truth. If we confess Christ and let His truth abide in us, we can see the error in any false teaching.
