How do we know we are Christians? True Christians are called to holiness, but can we have confidence in our salvation from the wages of sin while living in a fallen world where sin is still a reality? Mark Kline presents this series’ second test of authentic faith from 1 John 2:1-6, explaining how a believer’s lifestyle of obedience can give us assurance in our standing before a holy God. Our obedience won’t be perfectly righteous, but because of the perfect, atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ the righteous—who is our advocate with the Father—we can have this confidence.
