After an update from Katelyn Short about our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt, guest speaker and pastoral candidate Matt Bowen ended our 'Resident Aliens' series with a message from 1 Peter 5:4-16. Peter, a disciple who previously denied Jesus, closes this letter with a call to trust a God who cares for us, to resist a Devil who seeks to devour us, and to stand firm in our faith with strength from God, His word and His church. Matt concludes with a plea to follow Christ, who will "restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you."
