Do we judge others while thinking we’re the ones on board with God and His plans? Paul’s teachings from Romans 2:1-16 call us to think again. From Bob Short’s exposition of this passage, we see the contrasting judgment of the self-righteous to God’s righteous and impartial judgment that runs according to His schedule, our deeds, and a just standard. We are reminded too that God’s judgment withheld provides more opportunity for those under sin to repent and turn to Jesus, the one who absorbed the wrath of God on our behalf.
