Pastor Steve’s message for us is the same as Paul’s message to first century Jews and Gentiles alike: We’re all a mess. From Romans 3:9-20, we learn two reasons why all humans are guilty before God and in need of His grace—our inability to keep the law and the law’s inability to keep us. Steve encourages believers to remember that we are rescued because of God’s mercy, recognize the reason for the world’s corruption as their need for Christ, and remain faithful to expose sin and its remedy in Jesus. The message follows several accouncements.
