“What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about; but not before God. For what does the Scripture say?” In Romans 4, Paul offers 3 pieces of evidence for justification by faith verified by the Old Testament. In this message, Pastor Steve covers the first two evidences in verses 1-12 showing that neither works nor ceremony have any place in a believers’ justification.
