In the wake of an exposition of humanity’s sin problem presented in most of the first 3 chapter of Romans, Pastor Steve transitions to the Good News of God’s cure for our universal sickness. From Romans 3:21-31 we learn 3 important features Paul shares of the remedy for human depravity—the righteousness of God through faith in Christ that reaches all who believe, removes all boasting, and reinforces the Law. Before Steve’s message, Bob Short offers a prayer for Aaron and Kara Jones, who are preparing to move south. Mackenzie and Jesse South close the service with scripture reading for week 1 of Advent.
