“I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel…” (Phil. 1:12) What happened to Paul when he met Jesus? What happened to you? Guest speaker John Ottley, after a brief update about his chaplain ministry at Vermeer Corporation, preaches on the significance of the preeminence and centrality of Jesus Christ and the Christian’s unity with Him. John challenges us to read scripture with the truth in mind that “Jesus Christ is in you” (2 Cor. 13:5), and reminds us that there are people in our lives who need to see Christ in us. John’s message follows brief announcements and a prayer for JR and Debbie Kepple and Norb Metzler, who are traveling to Haiti this week.
