Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, "What is truth?", not realized he was standing in the presence of Truth. Doug Elrick draws from this passage in John 18 and the confusion over truth that persists in our postmodern, relativistic culture to reveal the absolute and objective nature of truth, as well as its personification in Jesus Christ. In considering the implications for the Church, Doug offers that the lies of postmodernism are best countered with the absolute truth of God's word, the full armor of God, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
