Many are worthy of honor, but only One is worthy of our worship: The One who calms the storm. Guest speaker Steve Smith preaches from Matthew 14:22-34, where Jesus calms he storm for His disciples and teaches an eternally valuable lesson about His presence. Steve teaches that Jesus cares about us, controls our world, comforts us, and champions our faith. Whatever your storm, Jesus can calm it, and He is worthy of our worship. This sermon follows a brief announcement from Alan Crim about The African Children's Choir (coming to Creekside June 18th) and Bob Short's introduction of Steve as a candidate for the pastor position at Creekside.
