The first quarter-final in the LaoisToday QuizCast sees Jack Scully of Portlaoise Panthers fame go up against Laois ladies football goalkeeper Eimear Barry.
Jack was the highest scorer of all Round 1 winners, installing him as outright favourite to win this entire thing out.
Eimear scraped past her colleague Mo Nerney but showed enough promise to say she could go far in this competition.
The winner will be the first to book their place in the Square Bar on Friday, December 8, where the semi-finals and final will be held in part of a special event.
