Description

The title says it all.

This meal is best served for 2 people over a fire at deer camp after a fresh harvest. Warning!!! This food may be addicting.

Directions: step #1
: shred some fresh cheddar and set aside
: slice limes and set aside
: place 3 tbsps. of oil in cast iron skillet set next to fire to warm
: dice half onion set aside
: dice cilantro set aside
: now slice open heart removing all cartilage or vessels now dice your deer heart in 1/4”x1/4” cubes
: now set cast iron skillet on beds of hot coals

Step #2
: When cast iron skillet is sizzling add your deer heart pieces
: Add 2 teaspoons of salt and pepper and constantly toss meat in pan
: When meat is done = crispy outside and soft center=approx. 2 minutes
: Remove from pan and set aside

Step #3
: Now warm tortillas in the cast iron skillet
: While tortillas are warm dress tacos in this manner
: Tortilla, heart, cheese, cilantro, onions, then add hot sauce squeeze lime slice over taco fold and enjoy. And trust me you can thank me later!
