This song is a straight up love song. It’s about love and romance, but it is also about suffering and remaining steadfast through the hard times. By the end of the song, you have lived a long life together and have come to a beautiful conclusion that “life” and “love” are just words. It’s the one you love who gives those words life and meaning.
