On this episode we sit down with Durell, Deidre and Meagan to discuss mental health. Durell begins his story with his story on his suicide attempt which placed him in a psych ward (10:00). Meagan Parker who is a professional counselor in Ohio works with kids and adults dealing with depression. She talks about how kids that she has worked with deal with depression (21:55) and how accepting they are with their depression (22:40).
Deidre, who was diagnosed with depression at a young age tells her story (25:50) of a suicide attempt, dealing with depression after losing a parent (29:20) and dealing with postpartum (28:32).
