Stefanie Spear works with people and organizations leading the charge for change. She has more than 30 years experience as an entrepreneur and leader in the grassroots environmental movement with a special focus on communications and marketing. She is the founder of EcoWatch, Expedite Renewable Energy and Stellar Consulting, the company she currently runs. Her main focus throughout her career has been uniting and amplifying the voices of the grassroots environmental movement to mobilize millions of people to engage on the most important issues impacting people and planet. In January 2020, Stefanie will be joining the crew of eXXpedition, an all-women crew sailing around the world to raise awareness about the devastating environmental and health impacts of single-use plastics, for the leg from Panama City to the Galapagos Islands. Bev Reed is a lifelong resident of the Ohio River Valley. She is a registered nurse but currently works for her family business and for Freshwater Accountability Project, a nonprofit based in Ohio. She helps with Concerned Ohio River Residents, working to educate the community on and organize around the proposed PTT Global ethane cracker (plastics) plant and associated petrochemical build-out of the Ohio River basin.
Bev is an avid mountain biker and enjoys the beautiful, rich mountains and valleys that Appalachia has to offer for recreation. She is also a youth mountain bike coach for a team based in Wheeling, West Virginia.
