Carolyn Harding with Dr. Lauren Beene, a general pediatrician practicing in the Cleveland area. She is co-founder and Executive Director of Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights and co-leader of the non-partisan grassroots coalition Protect Choice Ohio and the Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights alliance.
Dr. Beene is concerned that abortion restrictions will cause a medical crisis in Ohio, and will disproportionally affect the most vulnerable populations, including her teenage patients and people of color. Dr. Beene with Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights, Protect Choice Ohio & Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights are working diligently toward protecting reproductive freedom via the citizen-led ballot initiated constitutional amendment on the November 2023 ballot.
