Tesla Cøils started out in 2013 and have steadily built a following for their unique blend of music. 2016 saw a major rise for the band as they released their first self-produced EP, ‘Emergence of the Cosmic Monolith’. A really awesome concept and a true nod to DIY roots, they self directed videos for all 5 tracks of the record which created an amazing audio visual companion piece to the record.
Combined with the electronic mastermind Jed A. Wølters, who’s brain must look and think like a synthesizer and the brutal and animal like drumming of Chris Dennis, they have a sound that is hard to replicate.
They create a sonic soundscape that brings forth a dark imagery of dreariness but also highlights the beauty in such sharp changes and the depth of feelings. It’s analogue, its real and it's really something to witness and experience.
