We made it! After literally almost exactly 3 years (we first published on August 18, 2018) we have arrived at Emma's favorite episode. And true to her promise then, she joined us to chat about the powerful fantasy that this episode promotes.
To this episode's credit: It's narratively focused, well-written, powered by insanely good guest stars including Glenn Close, the literal legend who the producers just apparently decided to dial up and drop into the mix here.
To this episode's detriment: it's unsurprisingly deeply sexist and completely fantastical in a way that will broil the brainwrinkles of anyone who isn't jacking off to MattY and Jon Chait tweets on the reg. It is the Ur-Grand-Bargain and somehow that phrase didn't even come up once in our discussion.
I keep coming back to Propagandhi for music because frankly they're the best suited to the times. Apologies for my poor sound quality but it's better than last time!
