Description

When we sing in choirs or small groups we get the sensation of being immersed in sound in all directions, and the resonance of voices harmonising above or below our own part is warm and enveloping and empowering.
Here is a song that is well suited for simple parts singing in families, classrooms and choirs.
Originally written with a ukulele backing, this can be performed both acapella (with no instruments), or with accompaniment. It describes some vivid autumn moments along with their textures, feelings and colours, to give listeners and singers the sound and images of sanctuary and space that crisp autumn evenings can bring.
