Season 8, Episode 4: Ed Brzytwa, Vice President of International Trade at the Consumer Technology Association
I first met Ed during the ITA negotiations, when he was part of a large private sector delegation that regularly visited the WTO to engage with delegations and share the perspectives of industry stakeholders. In our conversation, Ed offers valuable insights into the role of the private sector, and stakeholders more broadly, in shaping and supporting the WTO's ongoing work.
Before moving into trade associations, Ed spent several years in government, including at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and the U.S. Department of Commerce. His experience across government and the private sector gives him a broad perspective on international trade.
It was a pleasure to reconnect with Ed, hear about his career and experiences, and exchange views on international trade during one of the most interesting periods I can remember.
Thank you, Ed, for joining me on The Rodolfo Rivas Project.
