Charlotte and Bek talk with Dr Danielle McMullen, AMA (NSW) Vice President.
Dr McMullen is a GP practicing in Sydney's inner west. She advocates passionately on behalf of doctors-in-training and was chair of the NSW DITC from 2014 to 2016 and has governance and leadership roles currently within both the state and national AMA organisations.
Danielle explains her roles, the difference between state and federal AMA's and what impact her role has within the AMA in these different organisations. We also discuss how to balance leadership, personal life and work... and the importance of saying 'yes' for opportunity as well as saying 'no'!
