Description

In this episode of Missions on the Mic, we sit down with Howard Marks and J'Nevelyn White with the Ector County Library to explore their history, current programs, and exciting plans for the future. We learned about their community seed garden, tech lending program (iPads, hotspots, and laptops), and their WOW Bookmobile — Words on Wheels — which brings books and literacy directly to the community.

You don’t have to be a resident to get a library card, and they’re doing amazing work to make resources more accessible to all.

We also highlight our ongoing partnership with the library through the audiobook kiosk at Music City Mall in Odessa. It's filled with audio titles and headphones specially reserved for individuals who are visually impaired.
