Michael O'Bryan is the Director of Learning at the Village of Arts and Humanities, an Urban Innovation Fellow at the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation, and on the faculty of the Curtis Institute of Music.
In his career he works to unpack and understand the science of human development, critical race theory, and human thriving.
In this interview we learn Michael's thoughts on what he feels is the suffocating nature of the white artistic aesthetic, as well as his thoughts on
Bernadette Peters, Barbara Streisand, Cilla Black, and his concern that Adele could, one day, be viewed as the Queen of Soul.
