DJing in his hometown of Belfast for close to 25 years, Blark AKA Blacky. Seeing Carl Cox play at the legendary Vengeance raves in 1990s was where he first got bitten by the rave bug and hasn't looked back since. Some people say he’s actually been to more raves than Carl Cox has ;)
Alongside friend and fellow DJ Crock, they both started up the Cave nights in Belfast, bringing over acts like Pet Duo, Patrick DSP, Marco Bailey, Mark EG, James Ruskin to the city. It was through this the two started releasing music as Cave DJz, racking up almost 15 tracks to date.
In more recent times, Blark has warmed up for some of the biggest names in techno and played at festivals like Burning Man, Life Festival, and AVA in Belfast. He’s also played in clubs all over Europe, including a lengthy stay in Ibiza, Griessmuehle in Berlin and Corsica Studios in London.
