Dublin artist Caimin Gilmore's chamber folk group Sun Collective released their latest EP on his 32nd birthday over the summer. He talks about how the collective works and we try to delve into the rest of his prolific music career, from playing with various orchestras including Crash Ensemble, to touring with Lisa Hannigan and making music with Damon Albarn at his gaff in Iceland. We also discuss the world of orchestras and trying to get into the audition room, as well as his holidays in Cork.
