Dublin-based band No Spill Blood, comprised of Matt Hedigan, Ruadhan O'Meara and Ror Conaty, have recently released their brilliant second album Eye of Night on Svart Records. Per the press release: An arsenal of analog synths and electronics alongside pounding low end strumming underpin a series of inward folding tales of a protaganist's journey within the self. An exploration of the cosmos within, an engagement with the inner recesses, bearing witness to what lies beneath the real.
I talk to Ruadhan about No Spill Blood's journey, from starting the band over a decade ago and releasing the Street Meat EP through to binning their initial efforts at a second album and touring Europe with metal band Year of No Light earlier this year.
