There are many famous “stones” throughout Scripture. The stone tablets with the 10 Commandments written on them, the stone that slayed Goliath, and of course: The stone that was rolled away when Jesus resurrected from the grave!
The stone wasn’t rolled away so Jesus could get out, but that we might look in and see that the tomb was empty and our king was alive!
There is another story of a woman caught in the act of adultery who was supposed to be killed by way of stoning. And before he rose from the dead, Jesus saved this woman’s life in a picture of grace and mercy that is FOR YOU today!
