We need to let God’s Word take root in our hearts in 2023!
A harvest will come if you tend to the soil every day.
As we turn the page to another new year, are we preparing the “soil” of our hearts for all God has for us?
Are we in God’s word daily? Are we praying and seeking him daily?
Jesus tells the parable of the sower/parable of the soils and explains that some will merely hear the word, some will receive it with joy but it will quickly wither with no roots. Others will let the word take root but it will grow along with thorns that, over time, will choke it out.
We need to be those in the parable that let the word take root and produce a harvest!
