Chillig in Schillig
I moved to Schillig to finally see the sea. The tide calendar is really a must have of vistiting the North Sea. I ran across the beach and my heart jumped - the sea, there it was. It was a special magic at this time of the year because the rinsed water was slightly frozen and looked a bit like a slushy ice cream. Of course, I did not taste it, but I ran. relatively long at this really beautiful spacious Schilliger beach. The wind whistled at -3 degrees very much around my nose. But I was thick packed in warm clothes, especially because the sun was shining, an incomparable mix of driving, rough and energetic. When running back a wild water feature offered against the dikes lashed. Some joggers and walkers met me despite the cold and I thought how beautiful the sea can be in winter.
