The new 4-track EP is also accompanied by a pair of stellar acid tinged remixes: hard techno from DJ Nookie under his Binary State moniker and tech house rave from Fuse resident Seb Zito.
Skippy vibes and catchy riffs abound in A-side track 'Feel', anchored by an emotional vocal sample and deep sub-bass drops.
For the first remix on 1HX we invited the legendary DJ Nookie to re-work 'Feel' in inimitable techno style. Adopting his Binary State alias, and fresh from remixing Goldie’s classic 'Inner City Life', the resulting remix is hard, uncompromising techno guaranteed to get bodies moving.
IAMI reached out to longtime friend Seb Zito to remix 'Feel', and over the course of 6 minutes he melds together influences from house, techno and rave into a sinuous electronic groove, all acid synths and 21st Century tech house beats. One for fans of Seb Zito, Fuse, and DJ Haus’s ‘Unknown to the Unknown’ imprint.
On the B-side, IAMI shows his now characteristic versatility with 'Seen'. The deep, dark and conspiratorial future garage sounds showing once again IAMI’s deftness of touch and fearless production ethic.
