LUM emerged from the jungles of Tulum to bring an EP for the purest of music lovers. Having already released on labels like Kompakt and MULTI CULTI, LUM now brings his medicine to Kindisch. Selva is a piece of art that might go unnoticed to the untrained ear – it’s the nuances, the twists and turns that bring the EP to life in a beautiful way. From the low organic tones of ‘Toé’, to the undeniable groove of ‘Respira’, LUM demonstrates his ability to create directly from the heart. Alongside the two originals is Nu’s extended mix of ‘Toé’, where he takes the torch and carries it further, deeper into the jungle night, helping us escape even further into ourselves. The boys of Dance Spirit also deliver a remix, giving ‘Respira’ a touch of tech house and underlining the mood in all the right ways. A track for the floor, early, late or after-hour – it’s always the right time.
