Ma Haiping (AXIS/ Molecular/ Nightvision/ Cratesavers International/ Seclusion)
He is one of the most influential Techno producers in China. He began to listen to electronic music on the radio in the 90s. Around 2000, when he was 19, he began to make industrial and experimental music. A few years later, he was triggered by stories of Underground Resistance and Drexciya then started making techno and influencing Jeff Mills' futuristic sci-fi aesthetics.
In 2013, he released EP 'The Chinese Connection' on Scan 7’s label Cratesavers International, which made him the first Chinese producer releases techno music in Detroit. In the year 2015. He released EP 'Crepuscular Rays' on Orlando Voorn’s label Nightvision. In 2022, he released the album Chang'e-4 at the legendary AXIS Records of Jeff Mills. In September 2022, XX 8 EP was released on the legendary UK label Molecular Records, and the Invincible EP was released on the French label Seclusion in December.
