In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Mollie Peterson is a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She has worked in the Criminal Justice and Social work field for over 40 years. In 2019 shared her Domestic violence story and in 2020 became an active volunteer and advocate with Mom's Demand Action and Everytown Survivor network.
I'm sharing my story to encourage others that all voices matter and to add a face with Michigan political leaders and demand action on laws pertaining to Domestic Violence including Red Flag laws. I want every survivor to know they are not alone and help is available, sometimes you have to find your tribe for supports.
