Yerevan-based analyst Richard Giragosian told Ahval editor David Lepeska that the recent burst of violence along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border represents a new escalation in the neighbors' long-simmering conflict, about which he remains optimistic despite Turkey and Russia potentially renewing their regional rivalry.
