Which two fit the NHL criteria and provide the best logistical benefits for the league, players and TV partners?
- NHL Draft Lottery: Of course the NHL manages to get themselves into a mess -- the first overall pick will be awarded to one of the eight teams eliminated in the qualifying round, Los Angeles wins second overall and will continue building out their prospect pool, Ottawa gets both the third and fifth and poor Detroit gets 4th.
