The latest release on Madloch's Crossfade Sounds sees Kyiv-based Ukrainian artist DF90 return with Coastal Drift EP, his second EP on the label following a well-received debut last year. Continuing his developing relationship with the imprint, DF90 further defines his dub techno identity here, leaning into spacious grooves, restrained pacing, and a clear sense of atmosphere that has quickly become his signature within the catalogue.
Titled after the opening track, Coastal Drift EP unfolds across five originals that move with calm precision. Coastal Drift and Drifting Horizon establish a fluid, meditative tone, while Cosmic Dust introduces deeper textural layers and subtle tension. Analog Drift leans into classic dub techno sensibilities before Fading Memory closes the release on a reflective, understated note. Together, the EP confirms DF90's steady progression and positions him as an increasingly focused voice on Crossfade Sounds.
