Yes, Rocks is aware that he tends to rant. He's working on it. At the same time, Whisky needs to work on his "radio voice".
In this episode we discussed the effects of social 'monsters' such as people who are willing to exploit children and create genuine fear amongst parents, a la "Momo". It made us think of other fictional monsters and the socio-political metanarratives that surround them, like Zombies and consumerism, or Vampires and fear of foreigners or homophobia.
And while these 'Monsters' may all be fake news, including these new ones on the internet, it still has had the effect of waking parents up to what their children have access to. If nothing else, questions are going to be asked of private corporations--like Google--as to how they intend to filter and screen for this kind of content when parents won't always be able to. Specifically when they own YouTube, which has an app specifically designed for children.
*PSA* just so it's not lost on the current internet ultra PC climate, we at The 320 Club have nothing against homosexuality or vampires. We just think Twilight is dumb, and trash for your mind. Whisky has a wide variety of literature that he can recommend to our loyal listeners.
